hi. I'm sefa durmaz. I was born in 1989. I'm from Aydın. I studied primary and secondary school in Aydın. When I graduated high school whose name is Aydın Foreign Language School, I won university whose name is Karadeniz Technical University. I had lived there for 4 years. Then I graduated from universiy and came back my home, Aydın. First I decided to go military but my family and my teacher persisted in staying home and studing very hard.Then I changed my mind. I studied very hard and I won ÖYP. Approxiamately 4 month ago, I came back Trabzon and enrolled in university. One month ago, I came İstanbul, İTÜ, for english exam whose point was under the 65 point. I took an exam whose name is IELTS in 23 March 2013. I took 5,5 point from IELTS. This point is equal 72.5 point. In other words I passed the exam. Now I'm living in İstanbul. I will live here approximately 5 month. Then I will go back Trabzon. This time, I will try to improve my english, especially speaking and writing which are most important for a academician. This time next year, I will have started post graduate.
YanıtlaSilI am Yasemin Kuruca. I was born in Germany in 1987. I am from Giresun. My parents have been leaving in Samsun since 2001. I graduated last June from Anadolu University which is in Eskisehir. My department was Cinema and Television. When I was going to university, I worked at TRT Okul. I was a TV program editor there. We used some computer program such as Final Cut, Avid for TV program montage. I have been working on a Research Assistant at Inonu University for three months. My department is Radio and Television there. I have been living in Istanbul for two months. I am learning English at Istanbul Technical University. I believe that I cannot pass the YDS, because it is a pretty hard exam, so I will get ready for IELTS. I will have been learning English for six months. I will go back to my university in October. If I pass YDS, I will do my master. I will already have finished my master program before I get married. I am growing accustomed living in Istanbul, but I sometimes get lost. I want to live in this city feature years. I may have a cake shop, after I retire. One of my talents is cooking, especially cake, pastry and cookie. I used to swim and hike in Eskişehir, but now I don’t have enough time for these activities. My boyfriend and I walk around in Istanbul at weekends.
YanıtlaSilMy name is Sümeyye Şahin. I was born in 1987. My hometown is Mersin and my family lives there. I left there, when I went to Ankara for university. I had lived in Ankara for two years, then I transferred to İstanbul. I graduated from Marmara Universty, Theology Faculty in 2009. I have been in Jordan for two months for Arabic practise in that summer. I had master degree in the same universty in 2012. When I prepare my thesis, I got English lesson at the same time. This year I started Phd program in İstanbul Universty. I have became research fellow for couple of months in Gaziantep Universty by ÖYP. I started İTU for English. I am also getting doctorate lessons when I am getting English lessons. I must finish phd lessons this term. For this reason, I can not study English efficiently. At the end of May, I will have enough time for English. On the other hand, I am engaged now and I am going to get married after the English course. So, I should make marriage plan. This summer will be difficult for me. I must work so hard.
YanıtlaSilI am Zehra ERISIR. I was born in 1989. I am from Adapazarı, SAKARYA. I went primary, secondary and high school in Adapazarı. After graduating from high school, I won university. I studied Geomatic Engineering in Yildiz Technical University. I have been living in Istanbul since 2008. My family have been living in Izmit, Kocaeli since 2008. When I won the university, they had moved to Izmıt from Adapazarı. I graduated from university on June,2012. Then, I started working in a private company as an engineer. By the way on September 2012, I started studying for master degree in Yildiz Technical University. I was working in the company and going school for my master. While I was working there, I applied to OYP program. My application was not scheming and I won OYP by chance. I worked in Yıldız Tecnical University as a Research Assistant one month. Now I am studying English in Istanbul Technical University as part of OYP. I haven’t studied English after high school so my English exam’s results were not sufficient for OYP. But I must get 65 now. I must study hard for next YDS. At this time I had better try IELTS. Maybe I can take 4.5 from IELTS. 4.5 is equal 66 and it is enough for me, for OYP. Later, I can improve my English without pressure.
YanıtlaSill am Selin BAYKO. l was born in 1986 in Bursa, however we moved to lzmir in 1989 as a family because of my father's job change. ln 1990, my sister was born and the family has been completed :) l went to primary, secondary and high school in lzmir, also l started to university in there, but my first university experience has not been so long. l was studying computer engineering in lzmir University of Economics, nevertheless this department was not my favorite one. l have always been a veterinarian. l left the university and studied for ÖSS hard than l took the first of being a veterinarian. ln 2007, l started to study in veterinary faculity in Mehmet Akif Ersoy University in Burdur. l graduated last June and applied some job postings. ln July, l was working in a five-star hotel's meat department in Antalya. l have decided to move back to lzmir 2 months later than l quitted. After moving back to lzmir, l have worked for a chemistry firm which produces pet cosmetics and vitamins. While l was working, l appealed to ÖYP programme and managed to be approved by lstanbul Medeniyet University, Anatomy Department of Medical Faculity. Nowadays, l have been going on English lessons in ITU for a month and studying to be sufficient in English for doctorate programme. l hope l will be adequate within 5 months and begin to labor on academic works.
YanıtlaSilHi! I am Özge Nur İskenderoğlu. I was born in Trabzon, 1989. Also I am from Trabzon. I had lived there for 18 years until I went to university. For my education I moved to İstanbul. I have lived in Çapa for 5 years. I gratuated from İstanbul University Departmant of Psychology in 2012. Then suddenly I got a job. I worked for Ministry of Justice Departmant of Probation Servise as a psychologist. I had been interviewed with defendants and prisoners. It was kinda rough job. I had been working there for 3 months. I applied to öyp,then I won KTU Departmant of Practical Psychology as a research assistant. I prefered KTU so I resigned my job. Now I am struggling with English. My English scor is under 65 thats why I have been taken this course in İTÜ. I love İstanbul so I want to stay in there as long as I can. I hope I will win my master in İstanbul. I should study harder. By the time I start to my master I will have finished this course . I am curious about food ans taste. I love cooking and eating also.I am open minded, freeliver and adventurous person. This summer I am planning to go to balkan tour with my friends.
YanıtlaSilI am Bahar KÜÇÜK. I was born in Trabzon in 1989. I am from Trabzon and I have lived there for 22 years. I went elementary and high school in Trabzon. My elementary school was Mimar Sinan Elementary School. I inspired from the school’s name and when I was just 9 I decided to be an architect. Then I went to Kanuni Anatolian High School . I had a prep class there for one year. It was my first meet with English in professional part. After that year I understood that I love learning languages especially English. When I closed to finish high school I had started to think about my job which could be indispensable for me. Finally, my decision was being an architect as I thought when I was 9. After I won the OSS exam I started to study architecture in KTU for 4 years. It was very difficult to improve my imagination and make some different projects. But I loved what I was doing and these difficulties couldn’t interrupt me. Soon after, I started my master last semester and I think it will be ended in one year. After then I will get doctorate lessons and write a thesis. Nowadays, I have a dream of having a decoration shop.There will be some ornaments,objects and furniture for customers’ houses. Also it may be an information desk for purchasers to get an idea to decorate their houses.
YanıtlaSilI am Zeliha ULUYURT. I was born in İstanbul, in 1989. I am from Kastamonu. I live in İstanbul with my family. I went elementary and high school in İstanbul. After I graduated from Kartal Anatolian Religious High School, I passes the ÖSS and I started Atatürk University Teology Faculty in Erzurum. I went to this university one year, then I swicthed to Uludag University in Bursa. Thus, I graduated from Uludag University. As soon as I finished university, I took an examination for master. As a result I was accepted by Marmara University Teology Faculty and I started my academic life. Last year I took some classes which are related to my department. This year, I have struggled to do my thesis, but I have not finished yet. In the second semester of this year, I was appointed as a resarch assistant to Karadeniz Technical University. Because of my low-grade english exam, I had to take an English course. As it was one of my preferences, I started Istanbul Technical University's English Course. I have been going to this course for one month and I am going to keep going during the next five months. This means that by October, I will have finished this course and passed YDS with a high grade, I hope. After that, I will have to turn back to Trabzon and complete my thesis. I like English so much, and I believe that this course will improve my English. I am glad to be here. Finally, I have wanted to become an academician since I was in high school, so I am very happy because of my new job. I desire to be a succesful one.
